Canadian Watercross Nationals July 16/17
The 2011 Canadian Nationals will be held July 16-17 in Belle River, Ontario, Canada (just 20 minutes from the Detroit Ambassador bridge). This event is also the 6th stop of the UWP-IJSBA Pro Watercraft Tour. In addition to the pro competition, there will be classes that will crown the national champions of all skill levels, including first time racers and juniors!
Registration will be available Friday, July 15th, from 3:00-5:00pm, at the Belle River Beach, on the west side of the pier.
Non-Canadians coming to race in Belle River - remember to bring your passport, or passport equivalent (NEXUS Card, Enhanced Drivers License, or US Passport Card) for crossing the border. Also bring ownership or registration documents for your equipment, as both sides of the border watch for stolen goods. If you are prepared, it's pretty quick and simple to cross.
